Who we are
We are a computational lab specializing in advanced molecular modeling techniques to study how ion channels function, their role in diseases, and their potential as therapeutic targets. Our work has a particular focus on rare diseases and drug repurposing.
Why/How are we going Green
We are committed to reducing our ecological footprint wherever possible. This includes optimizing energy use in our high-performance computing facilities through smart CPU/GPU resource allocation and load management and writing efficient analysis algorithms to lower energy consumption. We also strive to raise awareness about the environmental impact of computational research and minimize unnecessary calculations. Additionally, we avoid flying to conferences whenever possible.
