Vienna BioCenter Core Facilities (VBCF)

As a large provider of scientific services through Core Facilities, the VBCF has a special impact on sustainability. Our Facilities operate as higher-throughput research labs, performing a set number of methods in bulk, but with the same basic protocols as a primary research lab. That gives us a unique ability to assess the impact of sustainability initiatives on specific methods and technologies at a large scale.
