Thomas

Thomas is a PhD student in the Schleper group in the University of Vienna, studying archaeal proteins and developing methods for heterologous expression in model archaea. He is especially interested in enzymes connected to the process of ammonia oxidation and the nitrogen cycle.
Thomas is investigating how to reduce and recycle different kinds of plastic waste in the lab.
